Adam Gayer, MS LMHC
About Adam
“I strive to journey alongside you as you navigate college, and all the uncertainty, change, relationships, self-discovery, and new experiences that are going to come with it!
I’ve been with Parkview for over 10 years, both inpatient and outpatient treatments. I especially enjoy working with ADHD, anxiety, grief, depression, mood swings, relationship changes, and life transitions. Also, I can help with practical strategies for sleep, time management, organization, and day-to-day functioning!
How I show up as a therapist can be described as: energetic, expressive, creative, nurturing, and carefully attuning to your needs. It’s a privilege to be a therapist and to be in a shared, safe space that allows for vulnerability.
Outside of “shrinking,â€ I’m also a visual artist (oil painting, primarily) and enjoy spending time with friends/family, cooking, traveling, going on adventures, antiquing, watching movies, and—importantly—being a cat dad to my two furbabes.“

Brandan Quick, MA LMHC
About Brandan
“Every person has a unique story that brings them in for therapy; therefore, not everyone’s journey will be the same. I believe that therapy should be client-focused and the partnership between therapist and client should be collaborative. Primarily, I have worked with adults and teens, and across all walks of life, my hope is to support you in your journey towards growth and change. I am fully affirming of LGBTQIA+ individuals.
Seeing how hardships have affected many close to me and finding meaning in providing a shoulder to lean on in difficult times, is what drew me towards the counseling field. My experiences counseling in community mental health, private practice, and university counseling centers have provided me the privilege of working with so many across the Fort Wayne community.
When I’m not at work, I’m probably on some whimsical adventure somewhere around town with my family, my partner, or my friends. It usually involves antiquing, finding my next Lego project, or pursuing new spots for good food (always looking for new ideas).“

Jana Vastbinder, MA LMHC
About Jana
“The idea of counseling can feel weird to people, but my hope is to give you a space to breathe, help untangle your thoughts, and to get additional perspective and resources. My goals are to figure out how I can best support you in this season, as well as encourage and empower you in the process.
I’ve been counseling for over a decade and have experience in church, hospital, and community mental health settings. I can help you address a variety of concerns, and people usually come to me with things like anxiety, depression, grief and loss, trauma, relationships issues, and stage of life adjustments. I do a lot of listening and asking questions before offering feedback. I also like to laugh, so know sarcasm is welcome here.
In my free time, I’m usually hanging out with my friends and family, hiking, reading, traveling, or doing some combination of all of the above.“
