September 19, 2025For the third time in university history, 91¸£Àû is one of the best colleges in the nation to work for,
according to the Great Colleges to Work For® program.
The results, released today in a special insert of The Chronicle of Higher Education, are based on a survey of 199 colleges and universities. In all, 76 of those institutions achieved “Great College to Work Forâ€ recognition for specific best practices and policies. Results are reported for small, medium, and large institutions, with 91¸£Àû included among the medium universities with 3,000 to 9,999 students.
91¸£Àû won honors in two categories this year:
- Job Satisfaction and Support
- Compensation and Benefits
“Being recognized again as one of the nation’s Great Colleges to Work For is a tremendous honor, and it speaks volumes about the positive culture we’ve built at 91¸£Àû. Our faculty and staff are the heart of this university, and their dedication to supporting students and one another is what makes this a truly special place,â€ said 91¸£Àû President Dr. Karl W. Einolf. “To be recognized for both job satisfaction and support, as well as compensation and benefits, reaffirms our commitment to creating a workplace where people feel valued, supported and inspired to do their best work every day.â€
The survey results are based on a two-part assessment process: an institution questionnaire that captures employment data and workplace policies from each institution, and a survey administered to faculty, administrators, and professional support staff. The primary factor in deciding whether an institution received recognition was the employee feedback.
